Quiet week (but not really...)

This week was mostly spent hanging out at the RV park, working on an Eagle project for J, and the Mr. and J finished up the bicycling merit badge by taking a 50+ mile bike ride.  We didn't go many places, no photos to post here. Today J and the Mr. got to speak in our home ward!

Salt Lake, Bear Lake, and back again!

Tuesday we went to the Salt Lake Temple, forgot to take a photo, this one is from the Salt Lake Temple photo gallery online.  Early in the morning, J and the Mr. took a bike ride along the Jordan River Trail--it's hard to get photos when you're biking along. Wednesday, we went to the Bountiful Temple in the early morning. That evening J and S went to an activity with their combined youth groups Thursday we headed to Bear Lake via Logan and stopped at the Logan Temple And got some Aggie ice cream Friday we spent the entire day at Bear Lake!   We headed home on Saturday and today we attended our home ward again, much to the delight of J and S.

We did go over a few blocks and see where his boyhood home was We also headed back to the Community of Christ temple, which we also did not get to tour last time So many artistic details throughout the building The burning bush Inside the sanctuary Looking up at the spiral roof--modeled after a nautilus More beautiful artwork We hit the road and went to the Far West Temple site, where a temple was to be built, but then the Mormons headed West, to Utah Looking in at the site from the entry gate Each corner stone was in a glass box--people came and took souvenirs so they aren't very square anymore Each corner s
